TLC, ‘Think Like Cloud’ is a D’Ark Room magazine that shows the invisible process behind creative activity. ‘TLC vol.2 Shape of Mind’ covers an exhibition of the same name held at the D’Ark Room from October to December 2022. After a long-endured period of isolation and anxiety, a reconciling meditation of one’s mind has become extremely crucial. TLC vol.2 ‘Shape of Mind’ presents a space for mindful reflections through the subtle and deepening voices that tell intimate stories of individuals rather than loud and extravagant stories.

The artistic process of the four participating artists–Yunsoo Kim, Jaeyeon Kim, Young Suh, and Nicole Ratos Enerson–resembles the ecological evolution of nature, as each project flows and develops through relationships over long periods of time. This consideration of life as a temporal capsule of natural growth is evident through the repeated imagery of plants and forests throughout the exhibition. It is said that the language of the mind cannot be understood by the grammars of reason. ‘Shape of Mind’ presents poetic margins dismissing reason, but also the slow pace of the soul that is said to resemble the speed of clouds or a desert camel. This magazine is a collection of artist notes and process images that trace the thought process of each artist as they prepared for the exhibition.
