Hyunmee Kim translated the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda’s ‘Ode to Typography’ with typography design. The poem covers the history of typography and how it has impacted human civilization. In order to convey the timeless value of typography, she used only black type on white paper. Typographic form, color, texture, and space were explored within the classical proportions of typography grids, using each page as a stage.
