Gitz vol.1
In first issue of Magazine Gitz vol.1 with the theme of ‘Press’, the artist and their works inspired by text, narrative, book, print and publishing are introduced. Koh San Keum interpret sentences in newspapers into visual form. Ji Hyun Lee transforms the original form of the book into installation through intensive labor. Soosik Lim expresses an individual’s study like a portrait and Juhwan Noh uses the typeface as an artistic object. Hyesoo Park works by using text and narrative to evoke for her art. In addition, artists’ portfolio production studio ‘Portfolio’, book designers’ creative community ‘Studio Hertz’ and Datz Museum of Art, which display and plan in conjunction with Dats’ publication are introduced.
