Magazine Gitz 7
In Gitz vol. 7, there is the creative world of the artists agonizing over the existence of solitary human beings in the darkness and questioning what the essential things in life are. Stephen Tourlentes gives us a glimpse of the world through the irony that the fascinating night scenery is from the lights of the prison. Barbara Bosworth insights into life and death through fireflies communication with subtle light and the light of solitary ships floating the dim horizon. Hee Ah Yang draws her own monologue into ‘Six Nights’ and Jiyu Lee represents darkness as an existential event with a boat floating on the vast ocean. Linda Conner photographed a portrait of a painful human left by fossils covered with ashes of Pompeii 2000 years ago. Yooyun Yang depicts the helplessness of life in a portrait of a lonely human being in the dark, and Younghea Kim looks at the night sky in repeated daily life to find the scenery of comfort.
